Dandelyan je smješten unutar Mondrian Hotela u Londonu i proteklog je vikenda proglašen najboljim koktel barom na svijetu. Titula koju nosi nije mala, no nije ju bilo lako ni zaraditi.
We're of course proud of our drinks and our pretty-as-hell bar, but this wonderful little nod is for the huge number of people that throw passion & hard work into making Dandelyan what it is. Of course, any "Number 1", or "World's Best" isn't definitive, but we're really proud of the culture, honesty and family that goes into Team Lyan and are very appreciative of this award to celebrate that. Dandelyan je tako na dodjeli Spirited Awards, koja se ove godine održavala po čak 15. put, osvojio nagrade za najbolji hotelski bar, najbolji barski tim i ono najvažnije - najbolji koktel bar.
Nagrade su se dodjeljivale još i u kategorijama za najbolji restoranski bar, najbolji koktel meni na svijetu, barmena godine, najbolju knjigu o koktelima i čitav niz različitih titula koje su odnijeli samo oni najveći i najvažniji u svijetu finih, ozbiljnih koktela.

The next instalment is the Silver Fria off our Cellar Menu. It focussed on the tradition of polishing - nodding to the technique pioneered by Facundo Bacardí in the creation of his eponymous rum. At the heart of this is the family reserve 'Neo' a well aged rum, polished back to white to retain the complexity without the heavier notes. We've then played on the Cuban classic to have a brighter, lighter serve that showcases the rum perfectly. Polished rice, champagne and clarified pineapple round out this delicate and harmonious mix.
Front row seats at the bar are some of the first to go, but we've got lots of different areas that work for different occasions. Window seats are perfect for soaking in the southbank vibe, but our much-photographed banquettes are some of the funnest seats in house (plus, pink ＋ green, so hot right now 💅). Relaxed and comfortable but with a very different feel, you get to survey all the happenings across the bar. Plus, it shares a spot with our team, drinks, menu and branding with a global award for our beautiful decor. 💄🤘👩🎨
This lovely shelf of goodies certainly isn't what we work for - and we're even more glad for the comments we get each night of people loving the vibe, the drinks and hanging with the team - but this is also a lovely acknowledgement of the team's hard work! Having taken Best Bar Team home twice for @timeoutlondon, we're over the moon to be nominated @tales_of_the_cocktail for Best International Bar Team. There's a tonne of lovely folk who make up team Dandelyan but love also to the wider Mr Lyan family, and the amazing team @mondrianldn so it's awesome to also be up for Best Int'l Hotel Bar, and to have Chewy @iaingriffiths_ up for Int'l Bartender.
